Hi, I’m Shirin.  I love making things by hand.  (Was that part obvious?)

I am sort of addicted to the satisfaction that comes from making something purposeful, be it a pair of jeans or a chocolate cake.  There’s no better feeling for me than having someone tell me they felt great wearing (or eating, in the case of the chocolate cake) something I made.

Sometimes I spend most of my time designing and making clothes.  Right now, I am doing something more related to what I studied (International Relations), and sewing and crafting in my spare time.

My blog is a place for me to record recipes, creative endeavors, inspiration, thoughts and travels.
